Empowered Caregiver provides information that can help caregivers better understand how to navigate the responsibilities of caring for someone living with dementia.  Topics that will be covered include: building the foundation, supporting independence, communicating effectively, understanding behaviors, and exploring care and support options.  This program will provide valuable information, tips, strategies, and resources that caregivers can put in their caregiver tool box that will be beneficial along the journey of caregiving.  

Covenant Woods is partnering with the Alzheimer's Association to offer a special afternoon of educational programming sponsored by the Raymond T. Holmes Fund.

Advance registration is required and seating is limited.
