Ashland Theatre's Evening of Alzheimer’s Awareness

 The Ashland Theatre is proud to announce an evening dedicated to raising awareness of the devastating impact of Alzheimer’s disease with a film screening followed by a Q&A in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association.  The event is generously sponsored by Hanover Manor. 

The event, on Thursday August 21, will begin with a screening of the 2020 film, The Father, starring Anthony Hopkins and Olivia Coleman.  Hopkins was awarded the Academy Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of a man living with dementia. 

Following the film, a representative from the Alzheimer’s Association will lead a panel discussion on the signs and impact of supporting someone with Alzheimer’s disease.  Patrons are encouraged to ask questions and share resources.   The full line-up of panelists will be announced soon.
